Conservation and Development in Mpimbwe
Monique Borgerhoff Mulder and Tim Caro have been working with the local communities in Mpimbwe since 1995 developing community-based conservation initiatives that complement their ecological and social research. Their work has been expanded upon by collaborators and partners, most recently Emily Fitzherbert, co-ordinating the WASIMA campaign, and has involved many sponsors and stakeholders (see individual projects). In this website you will find details of current and past projects.
